Today is the last volleyball game, end of season. I thought about doing track or softball but now ive finally decided to just wait till next year to do any more sports. That way I do have the time needed to dedicate to my homework.

Its mainly Math and English that i dont get. And it makes me SO MAD! Because the math is algebra two and in truth its simple substituting and multiplying and divinding but whenever math gets in my head andi try toput it on paper everything gets all scrambled up and then i just look like a fool when the teacher calls on me.

And I never got english. Predicates and adjectives and all that jazz.

Both teachers are just..... loopy. Honestly! Im not being rude or inconsiderate.

Algebra is simple enough as long as you remember your steps. You will go thru it but do the BEST you can from getting help from your teacher and your friends.

As for English, it is the pits but we ALL had to go thru it too! Is it useful in real life? Not if you are studying literature, English or language field. To me, it was useful writing term paper in college but that was about it. For everyday life, I dont see a purpose in it but as long I can understand it and do my best in using the placements of the language, I think I can do well!

Hang in there! It is not going to be too long in school. Good thing you are cutting back on your after school activities to focus more on your homework.

could you possibly get a tutor to help you catch up with the algebra and english? if you get the basics then you can continue on your own.. nobody cares 10 yrs from now that you needed help today. don't feel ashamed if you need it.. also think about where you want to be in 5 yrs.. 10 yrs.. and set those goals for yourself..what do you picture for yourself and how are you going to get there? and when your feeling down go hug your pets.. they will put a smile on your face..and get you back into the swing of things. ignore your sister.. you can't save her. she has to do it for herself.. your at a time when horomones and stress are a big part of your life but it will get better hun.. have you talked to your parents about how you think you suffer from depression? i went for many yrs that way and i should have talked about it when i was young but suffered instead..i never sought help till i hit my 30's.. big mistake.. but today at 57 i can say i am so much better from the meds i have taken. too bad i waited so long to seek help..good luck and ask for help..
