Just wait and see how the fertility is! I got eggs from her from the egg swap and candled yesterday. Out of 24 I only have maybe 5 clear I candled on day 5. With how dark the eggs are those ones could have been fertile as well. I will be rechecking at day 10.

Ok, now to see if we can't get this up and going again. I will take rebelinny's offer. My offer is for a variety pack of mixed eggs. That can include goose eggs if wanted. Cannot be just goose or just bantam as I don't have enough laying for them to be fresh. These will ship out monday if offer is accepted before then. I have not collected and will send only fresh eggs, no more than 4 days old for goose and no more than 2-3 for chicken.

Geese:

brown chinese gander (production lines not show)
grey saddleback pomeranian geese (2 but one has a baby and I believe only one is laying)

Bantams: (There is a possibility of being covered by lf right now as wind storm knocked down their fence, the chance is slim as they are afraid of the lf and run and hide. The roos are very protective of their girls and will fight my other roos if they get to close. I believe only the black and one self blue is laying. I have hatched two that are black and whether or not thats covering something I am not sure, one self blue was hatched and one split to self blue (know this cause I tried food dye, need to get more though cause it wore off)

hens/pullets:
-black cochin
-self blue cochin
-gold laced cochin
-red cochin
-wc black polish
Roos:
-black cochin
-self blue cochin
-red cochin

Large fowl:

hens/pullets:
-golden comet
-production red
-dekalb amberlink
-easter eggers, blue wheaten coloring
-easter eggers, wheaten coloring
-silkie/ameracauna mix
-jersey giant

roos:
-golden comet
-jersey giant
-easter egger, blue wheaten coloring
-easter eggers, black and white coloring

I will take eli's bantams!!!

I have bantam cochins, mixed colors, some frizzle. There are some silkies in the pen, but I don't think they are laying. Will ship Monday and include as many as I can.

I don't think I will have enough to ship just bantams, guess I should have put that part in bold. I can do 4 bantam but what else would you like? If I were to ship just bantams the oldest would be 4 days old as I get 1 on one day and 2 the next. I also wouldn't be able to send extras unless you want lf extra.

However if you still want them, mine on your offer and I offer:

Geese: Only 2 eggs the rest would have to be lf

brown chinese gander (production lines not show)
grey saddleback pomeranian geese (2 but one has a baby and I believe only one is laying)

and

Large fowl:

hens/pullets:
-golden comet
-production red
-dekalb amberlink
-easter eggers, blue wheaten coloring
-easter eggers, wheaten coloring
-silkie/ameracauna mix
-jersey giant

roos:
-golden comet
-jersey giant
-easter egger, blue wheaten coloring
-easter eggers, black and white coloring

They really aren't undesirable. I have been watching and hoping someone would take them so I wouldn't. I am in the doghouse for all the chicks I keep hatching. I think they will be a good dual purpose chick. Which is what I look for. Besides, if I change my mind I can take them to auction within a week of hatch and I get to see the cute fuzzy butts and not have to continue feeding them. So its win win.

I only work one day a week and the rest of the time am a stay at home mom. So whatever I can't afford to pay myself my fiance has to pay and he gets kind of upset if he has to put up a bunch of money for chick food.

So anyway. I am accepting the offer from chickenpox and my offer is for large fowl and goose, if you pick both however I need to wait to ship on Wednesday as chickenpox wants goose as well. If you prefer to wait until wed bantams are possible as well.

I would have taken them but my silkies and sizzles have been off and on with their laying and I have a couple of order to get out. I may have to have another talk with the girls about paying their rent. They just want to sit around and keep the nest warm. Slackers
