Couple of pics, some of hubby's bonsai that are flowering right now.
Pink Pixie bougainvillea, these are still in training. The pink "flowers" are actually bract leaves (like the red ones on poinsettia) and the flowers are tiny.

This one they call desmodia, part of the botanical name I think. Couldn't get a decent pic of the whole thing, it's growing willy-nilly right now, so settled for a branch LoL. The flowers, in addition to being a beautiful color 💜 smell just like grape Koolaid! Not kidding, it's really neat. 😁
These have some wicked thorns too, there are a couple of huge ones on that branch. These come from the Vietnam area but would fit right in with our thorny natives 🤣 IMG_2026-04-02-12-19-34-401.jpg IMG_2026-04-02-12-18-52-572.jpg

Haha trick question. These were grown from cuttings that were grown from a cutting....
Those are several years old, these cuttings were grown in the ground by the greenhouse before he dug them up again for training. Had to get a couple of pics from his phone, here's a couple of older styled bougies. Screaming pink is hard to photograph 😉

Haha, that one is huge, LoL I ain't packing that heavy thing up! 🤪
Next time he's trimming on the bougies, I'll get some decent cuttings to send you if you want. They root really easily and grow in containers well, just protect from freezing. Full sun and don't over water.

Not much this weekend, keep doing rain dances to encourage the rain to come 😁

Are you picking up your tnr kitty this weekend?

yea hubby is supposed to get him today sometime around like 2ish, and im ready to get some good yard work in. i want to build my new greenhouse and omg that would be so sweet :)
