Oh dear. What I do in a situation like this. I bring my precious in the house, in a box or tub fill with hay or straw. Set her in the shower or tub. This happened to my Black Beauty. I almost put her down. I didn't like that option. I kept her in for several day's. It was winter but in Texas that means it's not 101°. I'm so sorry for Henrietta. Don't let people make feel worse than already do.
Black Beauty made full recovery and back to work foraging and laying eggs! Best of luck to you and Henrietta!🐔❤ Keep me posted!

The gate was left open by accident, I thought it was locked and my dogs are really clever.

I'll definitely take this advice, thank you!
I’m sorry people are being more cruel than helpful. Things happen... piling on is not being helpful. You’re responding very gracefully in light of the harshness. Hang in there... we’re all learning... every... single... one of us. I can’t imagine the stress and I truly hope your beloved hen recovers.

EDIT: Everyone who is saying it's cruel to let my dogs out with the chickens at the same time, I'm sorry I didn't really explain what happened.

Someone was cleaning the coop and left the gate unlocked, and I let the dogs out, because I thought that the gate had been closed. It was a misunderstanding. I'm not a cruel person and it was an accident!
Thank you for adding more detail and also for understanding and being gracious to the replies. :hugs

Accidents can happen to any of us! :barnie

I agree no bandages. Sounds like you have taken good first measures!

Please if I missed it already... what are your outside low and high temperatures? What is the temperature in your house? Adding your general location to your profile can help folks make their best suggestion possible at a glance!

There are lots of training techniques that are effective for dogs when applied that don't include any pain. And of course, we already know you will be more careful in the future.

Please... don't follow everything that is suggested! Always look into it or do what makes the most sense to you.

One of the keys to what suggestions are getting made is knowing what's available to YOU. Are you in the US? DO you have a standard chicken feed that you use? What is your usual feed, including treats and supplements? How many in your flock? What is Henrietta's approximate age? Do you know her place in the pecking order currently, before the attack?

How long ago did this happen? Is she eating, drinking, pooping? Are her eyes open is she standing up or sitting down? Is she dazed or lethargic or alert? Calm or flighty? Is she bleeding or just bald? Are you able to post pics?

Right now it's in the 40s-50s, snow on the ground. Henrietta is around a year old, and she is not drinking. She is eating but only out of my hand, and I think this may be from stress but her "droppings" are white. She seems tired and is standing on a stick she likes to roost on. She is bald, but you can see some muscle..

My other chicken Omelette was absolutely shocked when this happened to her a while back. She didn't move for days.. Henrietta is doing much better, maybe because of the extra attention :) I gave her a water bath which she didn't mind, and I'm using a spray for her wound. How long will it take for her feathers to grow back? She's friendly and all the others really like her, I'm sure she misses them ):

Thank you for being kind and the advice!!!!!

:) Thank you this means so much to me. <3

Thank you for getting back to us and giving us more informaion.
Sorry for jumping to a conclusion.
How is Henrietta doing now?

She's lonely, you can tell, but she would get picked on if she went back to the flock now. But she is definitely doing better.. her energy is up and she was really irritated when I had to put medicine on her skin, which was kind of sad, but I think her having the energy to be annoyed is a good sign. Thank you for being kind :)
