Crazy duck mom
I think you can eat fertile eggs, at least I do. Just don't give your hen time to sit or even think about sitting on the eggs.

Mind blown! You can freeze eggs. Line a muffin tin with parchment muffin cups, break each egg into cups, set muffin tin in freezer, when frozen remove each one from it's compartment, put into food storage freezer bags. Will be really helpful this winter when egg laying dwindles.
Another thing you can do: Boil the eggs, peel them and then freeze them. Thaw them overnight in the fridge and you have cold boiled eggs for breakfast, salads,…Mind blown!
I had no idea!
I have GOT to start doing this now, since I'm getting 3 eggs a week and the girls aren't getting any younger![]()

Thank you!!!Hey I love your signature!!!
You can always crack the eggs open and make a nice omlette for your duckies...
In a cold place you can store, especially duck eggs for months. During the winter time your birds will most likely take a break and you could use those stored eggs.
I envy you! My three Indian runner ladies have not even started their assembly line, they're 4-5 months old and i'm afraid there won't be any eggs before spring.
I scramble (raw) them together before I put them in a cupcake pan. Then freeze. Pop them out and seal in ziplock bag.Mind blown!
