destruction and disposal orders HELP

I'm so happy for you too! (And of course, your birds!) Thankful they agreed to quarantine instead of destruction. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

I won't sleep well on July 5th. <sigh> Guy across the street throws an annual town wide barbeque on the 4th. The his crew sets off between 20-30 thousand dollars worth of fireworks. Nope, not misprint, and not an exaggeration! I collect antique tea cups - well, I used to! The concussions have knocked several off their display shelves over the years so they are now boxed and distributed to my girls a little ahead of the scheduled time. And here in Cowley the 4th of July starts June 22 and runs until August 22! That IS a bit of an exaggeration, but everyone in town shoots off copious amounts of fireworks all summer. First we have the 4th, then we have Cowley Days July 22, where they drive around town pre-dawn and shoot off a cannon to wake everyone up. Um, it works! Then we have the Cowley Corn Cookout, also celebrated with as much noise and hoopla as possible. And people don't need a reason - if it's dark and they have fireworks left, they are determined to use them, down to the last sparkler!

Lovely little town, but NOISY!!! Love it, wouldn't change it! Maybe we need a John Wins Day in Cowley and another reason for get-togethers and noise makers!

teasing .... i ordered two sets of eggs from them delivered on 2 sep dates may 28? and june 6 --- i don't know the date of their diagnosis..but they showed up BECAUSE she had records showing the sale --- which i'm grateful for(beleive it or not) ... while i feel the eggs really didn't pose a threat (and they tested negative), there is always a possibility that test is wrong.... this whole ordeal may have actually SAVED my flock

I figured they tracked all her sales. I wonder how many others she sold to went through what you did with a different outcome.

Oh my......the horror continues !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am starting to regret ever joining NPIP...with NPIP they know exactly how many birds I have, where I live, where I have shipped.................at least my flocks are closed.
But if I had not joined NPIP,
they wouldn't know I existed here !

I am so ready to padlock my gate & not answer my phone !

Seriously, if someone within so many MILES of me bought eggs/chicks/birds from a facility that tested positive, they could just come & kill off all my poultry even though they are testing negative !! Just as they did to these people, just as they tried to do to Johnskoi !!!!!

You have always been as sweet as your avatar. I guess this is as close as we will ever get to a Blooie rant

My mom's 3rd, no 4th, no 3rd... maybe he was 5th husband was from Brooklyn and was a mounted officer in the Bronx. I just knew I would hate him. I loved that guy! My sarcastic sense of humor doesn't fly so well down here, but he kept me on my toes

We had a 5 year feud over which one of us had an accent. I miss that guy

They tracked her sales because she is a NPIP member, and all sales are registered, a copy of each sale is sent with the package, and a copy is sent to the state, and that is how they know who sent what where.
