Thank you for the link . I use my old bedding for future gardens , I layer it until I am ready to grow. Maybe I should just try making a pile. Chickens love scratching in it for bugs.And deep litter in the chicken run becomes a compost pile...you could use this for your goats as well... let me find the thread for you....

Freezing and dehydrating great choices also! i have a dehydrator myself, and freeze things as well!
I heard you should not put meat in the compost pile because it attracts critters.I have a huuuge compost pile! All the animals waste and bedding, old food they won't eat, heck there are even a few carcasses of animals my dogs have killed in there![]()
