I love mine, i keep them inside aswell. Mine have raised 2 babies so far and seem like neat birds. i bought mine from a breeder. When i went to Petsmart and saw how much they were there I was really surprised.

The first egg mine laid was a dud, but shortly after they gave up on it, they laid 2 more. I believe one of them is a dud, but the other hatched this morning.

I have diamonds also but mine are outside in a 4x4 open cage inside my aviary
They do just fine there and live with believe it or not Chuckars/golden pheasant and a ringneck
Mine have been no trouble whatsoever
I love to here them little things coo like they were giants lol

bought my pair at petsmart spent about $80 for the pair they live inside with my 8 now 9 finches and my two button quail. I have a 4ft by 3ft by 3ft wide cage. I ahve put lots of branch in for them. They havent laid yet and it took them a little bit of time to get use to the quail and finches.

I have had a female diamond dove for 4 days and it is really awesome. One of the ladies who works at petsmart breeds them and she gave me one free. Petsmart sells them for $40 each, how much would they normally cost from a breeder?
