Tony, let me know how much this stuff costs ok? I wonder how long using it is good for? you know like dogs I have to do the flea and tick monthly?? That would stink having to withhold eating eggs for that long each month

Doing some research. Some people do it in the spring and fall. Others say it will last up to a year. Maybe Toast n Jelly can have some input since they have used it.

it would help to get rid of the sparrows when you get the lices, mites under control, thats where they're coming from, the wild birds

No possible way!! We have 100's of crows, turkey vulture's etc etc. I live in the woods. There's just no way. Plus all the damp weather this year hasn't helped anything. But thank god they only effected the big girls and boy. Again, so weird that the growing pen is right next to them and the 17 younger birds don't have a problem.

Plus like I said heavily treed. They get sun but half/half. Can only do what I can do. Better preventive methods and now I know to inspect them a lot more. Actually, I never have. Never had this issue before. My bad this time. Won't do it again.

From what I have read, it takes a few days to work. I can wait that long. Sorry, but again, I don't want any more of those things on me. I still have them on me!! I think I have washed the skin off of me. I have taken more showers in the last few days than I have in a year!!

The withdrawal period for Ivermectin is a bit vague, some say 7 days, some day 10, some say 6 weeks. It is sometimes used as a dewormer for humans in 3rd world countries, so I doubt it will do you any harm I asked my vet at what you age you can start deworming chicks and he said no younger than 5 weeks.

Thanks. The ones I need to do are all the older ones. 16 months to 2 yrs.
