I have been trying to figure out what caused the spike since nothing changed with the outside the incubator temps.

I just wasted $35 on a whole batch of Cochin eggs. Soooo Sorry!Well... My 8 Salmon Faverolle eggs had to be thrown out... ALL of them...One was fertile but died at around day 6 or so. The rest looked clear and infertile at day 12. A waste of $30.
And they were from a good hatchery so I expected them to be fertile, but I was wrong.
Next I'm gonna do some ducks!!! My first duck hatch!![]()

Quote: Unfortunately, This is not always the case. Some people spend many years helping , helping, helping, then when it comes time that they need help- what they get is a bunch of excuses and screwed, mostly just kicked in the teeth while they are 'down'.......Life is not always for some what it is for others.
Yeah, I just described myself.![]()
The thing is, If you are a person of the nature to help, you can't stop, you just keep trying, and sometimes help doesn't always come in the form that you need it to. Sometimes you end helping the wrong people. Sometimes helping someone for what you believe to be the right reason gets you screwed and makes you not want to help anyone.
Just sayin......................
Sometimes just talking with one person makes you feel better though......Sometimes that one person taking the time out to help by listening makes a world of difference, and they know how to divert your attention so you can see any positive that may be at hand......To the person I am speaking of.........you know who you are.........BLESS YOU
........you took the time, in all you do for others, and enabled a change of perspective, which in turn gave me the ability to move forward.![]()

I'm so sorry that you've been made to feel this way.I have found that in helping others NEVER to expect them to be the ones to bless you back. Blessings are returned in unexpected and often overlooked ways. I have been so fortunate this way, that I can't help but believe that it is absolutely true. No one should ever help beyond their own capacity though. Helping should not be at the expense of their own health, sanity, or financial capability. If this starts to happen you will burn yourself out, feel unappreciated, & resentful. I had to learn the balance for myself. I help with the homeless, and had to realize eventually, that there is only so much that I can do. I can offer love support, guidance, food,& clothing, but they can not come and live with me. Yes, I had a homeless lady calling me at all hours 2 weeks ago trying to come and live with. I felt bad, and had to say no, because that was beyond what I could do, mentally and financially. There will always be people that will take advantage, and spit in your face, but that's on them. It won't stop me from helping all of those that truly do need and appreciate it.![]()

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your reply to what I said...you are exactly right, and I totally agree, sometimes it takes time for wounds to heal, and mine have not had a chance to heal from the go round before this one. Obviously I was joking when I said Sal dragged me over here kicking and screaming. That was actually what kept me sane the last 2 days...you guys, here on this thread![]()

Don't forget to breathe!! If you don't, you will pass out and miss the hatchingI am getting so nervous. Today is day 16 of incubating cream legbars. They are shipped eggs - should I definetly go with the cut down carton for hatching? Any advice is appreciated.
