Interesting. This may be a stupid question, but do hens ever have spurs? I have the sweetest LH "hen" and I recently noticed that she has spurs. What's up with THAT? Never crows, fights, acts dominant or anything, and I have two other roos.

Candled broody east indie duck eggs last night while she quacked around the yard! Um ALL of the ones I checked had something at least 10!
I week and hopefully my lemon cuckoo orps will be popping out! So excited for my first chickie hatch! All the info on what to watch for and help if needed is so great! Definately makes me less worried about being a rookie!
