Ladies and Gentlemen i do apologize for missing last night ... your try to be faithful secretary was laying down making notes for the summary last night and fell asleep in the middle of the living room floor ...and Dh let me sleep there for hours before getting me up for bed ..2 or 3 nights up with hatchings and 2 early morning as well as a day out in the sun must of just slap wore me out !!! lol I will be back after supper tonight to catch up and give a long summary of the past two days !!! laters - sorry about that !!!

OMG if I got on the floor I would never get up! HA!

Just set my mail ordered eggs in the incubator, after reading this thread I have turned off the turner and am letting it run for seven days. I would love some advice on what I can do to get a good hatch.

You're welcome. I just noticed because I used to post lots in the new member section, that a few months ago the new members started posting pics on their first posts. I'm glad they changed that. They haven't changed the minimum post count requirements for signatures and BST ads though.

Hi bantamfarm! Welcome! Can you share some info with us?

What incubator, fan or no, what temps your running, have you calibrated, and you understand humidity is a tool to achieve correct weight loss of the egg? The eggs are which breed? How were they packaged and how far/long/from where did they travel? Upon candling did you have small fresh air cells? or were they large, loose, or rolling? Had you set them for 12- 24 hrs at room temp before adding to the bator? The eggs were clean and unwashed?

sorry for the zill questions, it all pays an important role to get you as good of hatch as you can with shipped eggs.

Hi Marty, how r things? I put scovy in last Friday all old eggs n rolling air cells but 2 eggs.

I wasn't expecting greatness after taking 9 months of pushing to get them, then at request for refund I got.... I already shipped them! grrrrrrr I have cotts, brahma and a few serama and some awesome amazing fresh shipped CCL eggs from madamwlf in too!
