thank you. now im concentrating on the one that did hatch. it wont eat or drink, three days old now. I gave it some water with a ciringe.

I learned that lesson when I was 14 working for the school one summer. I was cleaning classrooms and thought I would mix a special cleaner. I ran everyone out of the building. Lol

yea i did that once in the bathroom. had to run out but it was spoless. lol

Ok. Just put 15 blrw's in lockdown.

Candled 7 peacock eggs on day 13. 4 are clear. Boooo

Candled several eggs. Culled several.

Went to Springfield MO to look at a new to us SUV With third row seating and came home with an 09 Chevy Traverse LTZ. It has onstar. Built in GPS. Dual power moonroofs. Built in DVD for the kids. Rear backup camera. It was loaded. I have no idea what all the buttons do. Lol Its what my wife wanted for her birthday.

I lost another chicken today. But this one turned a feed bowl over on itself and it had a big rock in it. I guess I need new feed pans. That's two in two weeks that's done that. All my chicks and chickens seem extremely healthy now. Lots of flying and lots if energy when I come to feed. The chicks go crazy to the feed. They were eating slowly when they were all sick. I cut back on the mess but will continue another week.

Hey all! Congrats on the hatches! I candled some of my Langshan eggs today to see how they were doing and the sampling I did showed perfect air cells and beating hearts!!!! My last two batches of shipped eggs from others certainly didn't do that good. These seriously look like I got them from under my own hen and put them in the incubator!!! So happy!! I want these babies so bad.

my wife's family is from Racine. She still has several cousins, aunts and uncles that live there. We are supposed to be coming up next month for a 30 year anniversary celebration for one of her aunts.

I from Wisconsin. OH YES, the State Fair. I would stand in line for the corn, they go to the back and eat it as I waited. Would just repeat the cycle several times. MMMMMMM

No, there are RIRs, NHreds, Bl. Austra., Americaunas, Orpingtons, one Ancona, Wh LG, Bl. Sex Links, SLW and RLWs, mystery rescue hens, and Brown LHs, and mutts. Those are the adults. Quite a variety but they look pretty on our lawn!

Got my framing done and the floors in the 6x12 hen house. Had to make it bi-level because of the hills. Still a lot to do.Going to make my homemade strawberry jam with my strawberries from this year. Then off to sell this weeks eggs. Hope everybody has a great day!!
