Lol. They've already done the deed at least once each. I normally get them out but this time it can't be helped so I'll just expect extra cleaning this time. Thanks everyone for the support!!!

I am off to take a few eggs on a 7500 mile journey on Wednesday.

I get to spend 10 days with my kids and Mrs Oz

Its so hot here in SoCal that I am not taking local eggs. I figure 105 degrees wont bode well.

I have been thinking about my hatches. I have had so many not get out of the shell. They are big and wet. They are also hatching early. I am going to add the dehumidifier to the incubator and also lower the temp in the incubator by 0.5C I am currently running 38C {100.4) and will drop to 37.5C or 99.5. The extra day hatching may allow for just a few drops of water to evaporate.

sounds like an AWESOME plan! do you run your water out of the dehumids via hose? or have to empty? So awesome 10 days! OMG OZ I have no clue how you guys do this! DH and I are on vacation until the 8th as well. MUCH NEEDED even if I cant leave these pups, we do have a nice pool and we can vacation at home! Do you guys have any plans?

Ok so we found a cooler at a yard sale today for a buck so we are gonna make the home made bator for next hatch the eggs are in lockdown tonight in the mean time I'm trying to up the humidity

Mrs Oz and the kids have been staying in the Manila area as part of the adoption requirements. They will meet me at the airport and fly to our place. As we do not have a car there anymore {its in the city} we will be forced to spend the 10 days at the beach house. That will be perfect for all of us.

A vacation at home can be great.
