That was my assumption and why I decided to get involved. I figured the longer he was in there struggling the more chance for bacteria and the more he'd become glued to everything as it dried. I was just surprised that he looked so good when I got him out. Will keep an eye out though.Yellow foam around the mouth and yellow slime means that he had ruptured his yolk sac. Keep an eye on him; watch for bacterial infection. Good move with the iodine. Hopefully the little guy with be ok.![]()
ETA: The yellow foam wasn't coming from his mouth oddly enough, it was coming up from the bottom of the egg :/ All I could think was maybe his little legs were trying their hardest to run so he could spin in the egg (but he couldn't because he was getting glued in) and they were churning up the yolk enough to make bubbles???
