Aww how cute. It amazes me how fast ducks grow. I currently have 3 sleeping in my lap of different ages, but only days between them but the size difference is crazy.

it amazes me how much poop they can produce

Cute ducklings! FYI, Muscovies double in size in about five days, so I'd guess one could expect similar growth in other breeds?

I think it has to be in active composting for a while before it can be sold as gardening compost. One way to reduce acidity in your compost is to wet it down and let some of the nitrogen down into the soil and out of the compost.

i still dont have my incubator. The shipping company lost it for a while there and it took my husband to threaten with the police for them to find it. Now the guy who supposedly has it wont answer his phone and neither will the woman who phoned me to tell me who had it. I could cry right now.

ughhhh  I cant do this with babysitting other ppls kids, I think some parents would freak knowing I hold duckies all day instead of drooling babies!  (hmmmmmmm  now what is wrong with that picture!)  

Let the kids hold them. Well if they are older then 4. I have to catch mine but then they are fine.

They go slow and bribe. Peas are a favorite around here along with green beans. I've also heard that watermelon and lettuce are good. My babies also love bugs
