I ordered these from a local breeder. They were pretty pricey compared to my usual egg source, but I was trying to get specific breeds... I got them Friday at 4pm, and held them, blunt side up, at room temp of 65-70° til Sunday when they went in the incubator about 7pm. I am dry hatching. The humidity has been 32-35% consistently. The temperature has been 99.5, maybe flashing to 100 occassionally... We are incubating in the Kebonnix 12 egg incubator. I've used it several times now and love it.
1 and 2 are Silverrud/Isbar eggs. Now, admittedly, these blue eggs are not easy to see through, but I didn't see any good, obvious signs of fertilization in 1 at all and 2 looks like it might be...
3 is the lone Ameraucana. I see a full blood ring. Is that correct?
4, 5 and 6 are Icelandics. 4 and 5 look like they were never even fertile and 6 looks like the only one that is fertile and viable.
So... What did I do wrong? Or did I get scammed and most of these eggs were not fertilized or viable to begin with?! What would you do in my situation? Should I contact the breeder?!

Today is day 4. Day 5 begins in 3 hours.
In comparison, these are EEs from my usual breeder, put in the same day to the same incubator. They all look pretty good to me...
Still early, I'd wait between days 10-12 before scraping any of them.

Shipped eggs are a risk. It's all, some, or none with shipped eggs. I hatched 3 Ayam Ketawa out of 10 eggs. But one chick died at about 2 weeks, it was a Failure To Thrive chick.

Only way you'll know if you'd truly got scammed, if they all hatch completely different from what you ordered.

They weren't shipped. I bought locally... I am not scrapping any right now, but that Ameraucana egg has me nervous...

What day are they on?

It was definitely a me issue. I held mind on my kitchen table. My mom has 6 that were held in a pantry where it never got over 65°. She has 6 fertile eggs. I am gonna guess 70 was just too warm... It might have even gotten to 75° in my kitchen at some point.... 😩😩😩 I suck.
