Did I kill my tree?

Okay, I have a peach tree that I transplanted with a backhoe about 2 years ago. I did it in the fall, it survived the winter, had a large bounty during the spring/summer, and made it through last winter. However, after I cleaned out my small chicken coop, this spring, into the wheel barrel I decided to spread the pine shavings and waste around the tree as "mulch" as the mulch I did have around it wasted away. Now most of the tree looks dead on some branches and never produced any fruit. Was this from transplanting it or did the high concentrations in the chicken waste kill it? What should I do?

Most likely the high concentration of chicken poo killed it. It's to hot to put directly on something without composting it first!!

and I'm not sure what you can do. If you would have recently done this I'd say water the crap out out it to dilute it but I don't know!!

Yeah I figured as much. We got a LOT of rain during that period and I would have thought it would have diluted it enough. I thought about the dillution of it as well but obviously if that was the cure, it wasn't enough. Thanks for your post.
