Did my chick eggs die?

I was just about to give up picked up my only white egg to try to look for an internal pip.. Tapped on the egg a few times and put my ear to the egg and it started to pip in my hand I hope it doesent hurt it but I will keep my fingers crossed super excited!!!!!

Awesome!! Just a matter of time now! Just remember once they externally pip, it can take a good 24 hours before they start zipping!!! Good luck!!!! If you can, go to you tube, look up chicks peeping and play it periodically by the bator. When they hear other chicks it motivates them to do their thing!!! I did it for both of mine and you could hear and see them react!

Good luck! I also find it takes at least 24 hours from first pip to zipping, and then zipping to hatch is quite quick.

For an update I have now two fully hatched chicks and one any minute now my white egg did die :-( not sure what happened it broke the shell but not the membrane :-/ after a while with still no peep it finally stopped :-(. My other 5 no noises in the eggs I think those ones stopped I'll leave them but I think they won't hatch.
