My posts get a lot fewer answers these last few weeks. Seems to me that more of us would be home, not working, and doing chicken things. But instead, the forums are quieter.

Was there a purge or something that I missed? Deplorables or Burnie Bros sent off to goolags?

I think a lot of people are just busy. Lots of newbies to help and welcome, gardens, kids to homeschool.

There are general daily ebbs / flows, but we're still seeing record-numbers of daily posts... so it's definitely not "quieter"

Ya, definitely more posts the last few weeks than we've seen for years... so I'd guess it might be related to the posts themselves? If you're looking for more replies, perhaps adjust the subject lines (more / clear detail is better) and add more information, images, etc. to your posts to increase engagement.

So, ya, there are way more people and way more posts than we've seen for a while, so the data is definitely showing BYC is far from quiet

Is that a challenge for me to do some cray-cray sql queries into the database!?!?!?!

My "gut" says it's more of the latter, especially considering how many peeps are buying up baby chicks and tons joining the community looking for help.

Yup, that's definitely in-line with what I'm seeing and expecting. I think coops will get even more crazy the next month as tiny fuzz-butts grow up and need to be put outside!
