did ya ever paint a room and end up not liking the color

Yup, I've done it a few times. Then it's off to add white to the color. Adding white seems to solve all my major paint issues...except the house exterior...stuck with that. It was supposed to be a light brown, and it's more peach.

Yep... almost EVERY time we paint... then we need to do the whole room over again. Every time...

I was told to go to shades lighter in whatever color I chose. And to avoid any shade of green!

I hate painting a room! I used to love painting when my eyes were good and had no problem painting the trim. Now that I'm older, I tried the blue paint tape and nearly had a neural meltdown. Apparently when you peel off the tape the paint will strip right along with it. I'm going try that green tape next time. I don't care how much it cost.

that'll be true with the green tape too, if you're using latex.
2 ways to fix it... remove the tape while the paint is still WET - be careful about brushing it across the surface of the wet paint though - or run a razor along the edge between the tape and the paint before you pull the tape. latex makes a rubbyery sheet and will peel off in sheets. if part of that sheet is on the tape, it'll keep on going, even if the paint is on the wall.
the green tape does give a nicer line if you're taping off edges where the paint can seep under the tape.

Just a room?

Re-painted Terra Cotta,..... came out the same color as a basketball!

Now when I give directions, I tell 'em to follow the dirt road till they see 2 red barns with a basketball looking house! I'll try it again in the spring!
