Did you know..... Chat Thread! W/ Hosts: DwayneNLiz, kwhites634, BantyChooks, MotorcycleChick, C

Actually, an online vegan has been telling me that because I cull extra cockerels for the table, I should take my chickens out into the woods and let them all go free, even though they would all die in the wild. Bonkers? Heartless? Naive?
Just plain nutty. Reason doesn't work with those crazies.

Oh boy. :th Or would that be..."oh girl!" I have foxes here...we have friends that have pets foxes...:lau and they want mine should I catch them. They feed them and everything and they live a l-o-n-g ways away...so that "could" be a win-win.

Otherwise no. Just no. Putting them in another foxes territory can mean death to that fox and it won't be nearly as nice as the death you would give it. There's more to the story than that first step of release in another area. I think people just don't want to think that far into the process. They prefer the "fairytale" endings.

Except there is no fairytale endings. View attachment 1133825
Next time one of them hits you with that argument, ask them how's they'd like to have rabies running rampant in their area. That's very well what could happen. Foxes are known carriers, and one non-fatal (for a while, anyway) bite to a pet dog is all it would take.
