Tomorrow we're planning to smoke/grill some meat and try making some sauerkraut
I have a great recipe for home made sauerkraut…
I’m currently on OMAD (1 meal/day) 6 days per week so no breakfast other than morning coffee for me……but we did have a beautiful grilled chicken salad with homemade ranch dressing for our meal tonight!
Our biggest meal during the day on the cattle ranch/farm is either breakfast or lunch depending on what that day’s schedule is going to be. I am diabetic and try to eat something three times a day. I often rely on fruit, veggies and eggs for my other meals. I limit portion size and try to stay under 1200 calories Per day.
Our big meal will have 3 vegetables, a salad and a meat (grass fed beef or pork, chicken or fish). Hubby and bil enjoy dessert so I’ll make an occasional fruit or citrus pie.
Since January 2020, I have lost and kept off 25 lbs by increasing my daily walking and exercise. In addition increasing water consumption keeps me hydrated and feeling full.

I’d definitely love to have your sauerkraut recipe! :pop
We still haven’t gotten around to making it yet 🙈 mr muddy has been too busy and spending time making ice cream 😂

I sent you a message with the sauerkraut recipe. :)
Thank U Reaction GIF by Amanda

The move to our new homestead has not been without its challenges but we’ve managed to stay mostly on track. Mr Muddy has now reached almost 55# lost and I’m nearing the 30# mark. His BP is much more stable and his endurance levels to all the extra work has significantly improved :highfive:

Hoping to get a small garden started in the next couple weeks. And hopefully adding a greenhouse by next year to extend our growing season and be able to start from seeds

I just got inside from mowing. Started raining on me, but I got it done.
We had similar issue…..trying to get poolsite leveled and rain came in :th got to a stopping point, covered the quikcrete on the trailer……and will have to do my trailer in the morning.
