All depends on output. If you don’t have gas in the car it isn’t going very far. I’m good with a little extra weight right now as long as I keep my waist around a 34. If I don’t eat that way I naturally drop to 185 lbs or so and I’m trying to stay at 200lbs currently. I’m fighting the opposite fight of keeping it on lol. I know that sounds weird but I deal with that with younger guys a lot …. the same problem some people have in losing weight is the same issues “skinny guys” have in adding muscle. The more muscle you carry the less concern I have about insulin.I’m not a fan of the high protein, high carb regimens, they tend to increase insulin and appetite ……but as part of short-term goals….I guess they’re ok…..
I’ve never been much of a breakfast eater and usually too busy to eat lunch so OMAD works well for me…….i try to keep it as close to 70/20/10 as possible and usually stay satisfied for 16-24 hours. The weekends I do tend to snack a bit more and we cook breakfast usually on Sundays
Mr muddy OTOH, typically requires an extra meal, or snack as a larger male.
Carb load weekend?!My nutrition is shot for the weekend
Storms knocked out our power around 3:45pm yesterday and not estimated to be back on until nearly midnight today. I tried to minimize bad stuff for dinner out yesterday but had a chick-fil-a biscuit this morning and not sure how much in the fridge may not make it through

Love Nourishing Traditions.Great subject, I enjoyed reading through!
My husband and I, for the most part, believe in the Nourishing Traditions/ Dr Weston A Price ideals on eating wholesome real foods. Are we perfect at it, nope, no way.. but we are doing our best and believe that being too strict and rigid is just not healthy either! Thankfully we stay very active and try not to be sedentary. It really is a balance, I love to be outside on the trails Mtn biking or hiking, or just working around the property, especially with the hens. Plenty of sunshine, a hard days work(or play), real food, and a grateful heart, that’s the best way IMO!
It just makes perfect sense doesn’t it? eating the way God intendedLove Nourishing Traditions.
