I’m currently on OMAD (1 meal/day) 6 days per week so no breakfast other than morning coffee for me……but we did have a beautiful grilled chicken salad with homemade ranch dressing for our meal tonight! What’s for breakfast today? For me it was a ham and cheddar cheese omelette.![]()

I’m not a fan of the high protein, high carb regimens, they tend to increase insulin and appetite ……but as part of short-term goals….I guess they’re ok…..I would be starving. We’ve been really on top of work outs. 5 days a week of pretty intense preparation. Desert 100 is almost 4 weeks awaynot sure it will be possible, but would like to be at 2 hours of cardio prior.
Basically not eating breakfast or lunch for most of my life, made some of the “diets” I’ve done that required eating 5x/day very difficultI’m not a fan of the high protein, high carb regimens, they tend to increase insulin and appetite ……
I’ve never been much of a breakfast eater and usually too busy to eat lunch so OMAD works well for me…….i try to keep it as close to 70/20/10 as possible and usually stay satisfied for 16-24 hours. The weekends I do tend to snack a bit more and we cook breakfast usually on Sundays
