Yeah that’s a good point! Maybe it would be more worth it to buy the spiralizer. Idk. I’ll have to think about it. I think the stuff was maybe only a few dollars but that does add up for sure.
Hate to be logical, but why not try the spiralized stuff, and if you like it then buy the spiralizer?

I used vegan for 2 years until I became very anemic (I even ate all the good whole foods and a lot of them too). Coupled with being anemic and wanting to eat more locally and not take a bunch of vitamins and supplements, now I’d say that I’m mostly pescatarian with beef and dairy added in from a local family farm (their cows are fully grass fed and raised on hundreds of acres). I don’t eat dairy exclusively from that farm but I do tend to stick to higher quality dairy products. I eat vegetarian (eggs from my chickens and dairy) most days with some of the beef less often and fish more often. I don’t eat fast food but do enjoy supporting my local restaurants and take out (I do have to say that I love the occasional In & Out though). I like making homemade pastas, pasta sauces, and breads (I love making things from my sourdough starter like bagels, bread, English muffins, etc). This ended up being a pretty long post and I could add a lot more but I won’t lol.

Or just slice them with a knife. Looks a lot less cool but less to buy, less to clean, less to store, tastes pretty much the same, holds nearly as much sauce.

I don't have a diet as such, just trying to eat less, and healthier.
Less white bread and that kind of useless food, more whole grains, more vegetable and fruit.
Does anyone know, how much better homemade bread is compered to bought stuff?
We buy the flour as grain, and then mill it just before using it, so its as fresh as it can be.
I presume it has a lot more good stuff in it?
I know its still carbs, but I actually seem need a few more carbs then some people might.
Whole grain homemade bread is much healthier than white bread! Especially when baked and eaten on occasion vs daily it sounds like you’re definitely on the right track!

I have no idea what to call my diet because I wouldn't call it a diet, but rather necessary for my stomach to not be in pain😅 I have had stomach issues since I was a baby and one day I decided that I was going to eat only foods that didn't cause stomach pain, bloating or nausea. I have found that if I eat low carb throughout the day and then at dinner eat as many complex carbs as I want I don't end up with a bloated stomach like I do if I eat carby foods all day long. Also by focusing on lots of clean protein, healthy fats and vegetables I function so much better. Now I don't eat like this 100% of the time, but most of it.

A typical day consists of:

Pre-breakfast: Coffee with unsweetened walnut milk and a little monk fruit. If I'm in town I will grab a plain unsweetened latte.

Breakfast: Spinach eggs cooked in olive or avocado oil topped with a little gruyere or goat cheese. If I know I'm going to have a long day with lots of physical activity I'll eat some oatmeal with my eggs.

Snack: Plain Greek yogurt with a 1 tsp. Pure Synergy Berry powder and raw unsalted pumpkin seeds.

Lunch: Sauteed zucchini over cauliflower fried rice which I make with riced cauliflower, peas, carrots, fresh garlic, green onion and coconut aminos. Also a protein shake (I love Fair Life 30g protein vanilla bean shake)

Snack: Aloha's Chocolate Almond Coconut Protein Bar and a cup of tea.

Dinner: Protein (Salmon, chicken or lean beef)+ carb (brown rice, brown rice pasta, quinoa, lentils or beans) and vegetables. Some days I skip the meat/fish and just eat a homemade curry.

Desert: If I do eat desert it's a serving of Rebel brand ice cream or Lily's dark chocolate (both sugar free low carb)

Drinks: I mainly drink water and decaffeinated tea after my morning coffee. If I am craving a soda instead I drink a sparkling water or a Zevia. Once a day I'll put a scoop of Ultima Electrolyte Powder in a glass of water.
:bow
The only changes I would make to your plan is to include more animal fat to balance out the protein

Ants on a log LOL and I had 3 fried eggs and a couple sausages earlier.
