Go with faverolles, one byc member @Sylvester017 has a silkie and several dominique pullets together and they're fine but the silkie is quite mature and the dominiques are very young. I have one single dominique in a mixed flock and while she gets along famously with people she's very bossy and pushy with the other hens. The faverolles in my flock almost wouldn't hurt a fly.:)

I keep American Dominiques (what I assume you are calling dominiques), American Games (fighting chickens), and crossed population of the first two in mixed groups except when breeding. Hens are not a problem at all whether in confinement (10 x 10 dog kennels) or free-range. Only one game rooster can be run without any other roosters of any other kind. If American Dominique or the cross roosters involved, then multiple roosters can be ran together and with hens.

Our Silkies get along fine with all of our chickens, we have bantams smaller than them including Dominique s, but our standard chickens are the following: Buckeyes, RIR, and Ameraucanas. None of our chickens have bothered the Silkies since we got rid of extra roosters.

I know silkies can be fragile but none of ours are. We keep a rather large mixed flock consisting of American and English Orpingtons, EE, cream legbars, silkies, Buckeyes, oegbs, brahmas, Dominiques, Wyandottes, and a few miscellaneous singletons. We also have red production layers and a couple barred rocks we added in spring. I'm not terribly into the barred rocks, although they've calmed down a lot since beginning to lay.

Our silkies get along with pretty much everyone. Hold their own very well roost with the other birds(although not usually on the top roosts-although they can access them bc we keep ladder style roosts). They're somewhere in the middle of the pecking order.

We have approximately 120 birds right now with more yet to go to freezer camp. Yes we eat our spare cockerals. Our silkies make wonderful mother's and stand up for their babies amazingly. We do separate the hens and chicks for a couple of weeks minimum before reintroducing them to the flock.

I think, Orpingtons, Dominiques, EE, salmon faverolles etc would all be good matches. Any breed that's not too bossy and is generally gentle.

I would also suggest adding at least one more silkie. If there is only one bird that looks different it can make the others more likely to pick on the one.

On top of getting along with the April (my Silkie), I live in California where it can get hot. So I would need a heat tolerant chicken.

Here are a few options for you:
(these are all friendly and not to dominant)

Australorp- Very docile and friendly
Buff orpington- Cuddly and docile.
Barnevelder- Choc Brown eggs
RIR Rooster- Very placid (hehe)
Dorking- i have one that on arm
And of course PEKINS- true bantams ( Very cute )

And yeah i could probably go on and on but thag would take ages.
