Is it normal for a cat's eyes to be fully dilated? I only noticed it like yesterday or the day before. I thought they were supposed to get smaller with more light and bigger in the dark? But hers are just dilated all the time

And I just looked up old photos, thinking maybe she's always been like this, but her eyes used to contract

Yet I think she sees fine? But idk

Cats' eyes dilate depending on the amount of light, and what they're doing. My cat's eyes dilate when she's hyper, and when it's dark. It's perfectly normal

So it can be based on mood too? Cause that's part of what I'm saying, hers are dilated no matter the amount of light and I haven't seen them undilate, for lack of a better word, yet

I guess I'll just keep watching haha
