Did anyone see 60 minutes last night? They were interviewing a scientist who has been making all sorts of breack through discovery's on dinosaurs. He said that in 5 years he knows he will be able to make a Dino-chicken. A chicken that has teeth, a long tail, and small front legs instead of wings. He said it's just a matter of switching a gene on or off. An example he gave of the gene switching was that an embryo grows a long tail, only until a gene turns on that stops the growth and dissolves the tail away, so if he turned off that gene, the baby chick would hatch with a longer tail.

Weird stuff...
 
Ah I missed it. It sounds interesting. I'll check out their website.

I saw the intro and then got distracted. I'm easily distracted.... oh look at the cookie on the counter.

I saw that, Pretty cool stuff, although I'm not sure I want Dino chickens on the loose.

Think about the predator that breaks into that coop.
