I had some ISA Brown hens lay those brain looking eggs as they got closer to 2 yrs old. It is not uncommon for them to start laying wonky eggs the older they get. They lay so early & so many they are depleted at a early age. After you start seeing these types of eggs it's not uncommon for the hen to pass from a broken internal egg. Hard to tell who it is out of your dozens of birds,

I haven't collected eggs today yet. They haven't been incorrectly fed in a couple days. I will update the thread periodically. To answer your question, diet was an educated guess because of the recent current events. So, in time I will find out if it is a health problem. I have some other interesting eggs to share as well. I have another one that seems to be embedded with a substance the same color as the barley grain they over fed on. Just got home not too long ago. I'll update as soon as I can. Setting up for my ducks here too. Crazy the last couple of days. Thanks for taking the time to interact.. TTYL
