Disappointing Kitchen Accessories

Hmmm...does this mean I have to try yet another one? LOL

Can you actually get all the garlic out of it? My main complaint with the ones I've tried is that you put a clove in and without picking for 10 mins, you only get about half of it out.

ok...no disapointment here...i treated myself to a ninja master pro...I really...want to get one of there blenders...but this was on sale...less than 1/2...and just went for it....
first project (ok not that exciting..but am trying to unload the freezer of extras...and cooked up some tongue.....it zipped through it so quickly and evenly...dogs will be happy and i am in love...

I got the ninja last year. The one I got came with three different sizes of containers. OMG that thing really works. DH said, are these things sharp? Then picked up the blade and got cut right away when we first got it lol. Sooo you do have to be very careful when handling or washing the blades. They pulverize really fast so if you don't want something to be totally demolished you have to only barely press it once. Works great for crushing ice for mixed drinks!

That's all I used my bread machine for too. Then I gave it to a friend and yep, it's just to mix the dough. Because they bake it terrible.
Now I'm going to try the one we have just to mix! Because the bread was gawd awful and we didn't use it again, but i'm a wuss and afraid to mix dough! This has opened up all sorrts of possibilities...

My Oster stand mixer is over 30 years old and still going strong. It has a meat grinder, blender and dough hooks and back in the day I used it for everything. With just my husband and I now, I don't use it as much, but I am never disappointed with it.

I learned my lesson about the as seen on TV stuff, which always sounds great and never works as advertised, and never ever buy any of it anymore.

my mom has that one...and is great...I couldn't understand the hype for kitchenaids...i had an old think it was kenmore...worked great till my son put the beaters in wrong...
but now i have a kitchen aid...the professional one so i don't have to pull it out all the time...and is GREAT....some things really are worth the investment...i got mine at a warehouse discount store...for less than they were selling used on craigslist...
