DISASTER!!!!!!!!!!1

Try using a can of tuna or wet cat food. Don't open it, but punch holes in it so it will smell and you can run a wire through it . Wire the can to the bottom of the cage.

The smaller animals can't eat the bait, but the larger ones should trigger the trap when they try to get to the food.

With the utmost respect from somebody that just read every word in this thread.. You got one of three choices..

1. Free meals for the rest of your live..

2. Hire a professional hunter (once of)

3. Ask your wive to help you out..

I have my hav-a-heart trap surrounded by concrete block that way they can't roll the cage. I then dig a small hole under the cage just in front of the trip plate and I place the can of cat food in it. That way they have to walk in to get the food and then find out the food is out of reach but it trips the trap. Plus I wire a couple marshmellows inside too. Caught a raccoon about 2 months ago and now I see some really large raccoon prints down by the horse stalls. Hoping to catch it soon.
