Disease?

Yes, she's acting normal. but the first day I noticed it there was nothing wrong with her other wing; now there's a small green spot on her skin

Actually, she usually lets me pick her up, but she runs away and freaks out when I lift her wing up. Is that normal for a bruise?

ok i noticed something really weird. whenever i check on her, it sounds like she's making a soft sound kind of like a quiet toot. it's really really weird she has never made this sound before

How old is she and do you have a cockerel or rooster? Damage under the wings is common during mating, particularly with immature birds. Green is the colour of bruising in chickens and it may be that the bruise on the other side was just coming out which is why you didn't notice it. If she is just coming of age, her vocalisations will change so a lot depends on your answers to my questions at the beginning of this post.

I took a recording but you couldn't hear it. She is only about 20 weeks old and we do not have a roo, but some of the other chickens pick on her sometimes

Okay the green tint seems to be slowly fading away, so it probably was a bruise. Thank you guys so much for the advice on it . I sure didn't know that chicken bruises were green!
