I received these 4 month old chicks after a 4 hour road trip from Lahore to Islamabad.
When I received them, there was blood in the stool. On inquiring from the person who sent them, he said the chicks were never sick in the first place and that this is coccidiosis and that he will return the money to me as a refund.

I told the person that these chicks couldnt have got sick during the journey cause there is something called incubation period for any and every disease.

He then sent me a video showing the dropping of the chicks and that didnt have blood.
can anyone clarify what is happening? is that person lying? or am i dreaming that the disease was acquired on the road trip in my personal car with no exposure of any animal!

The chicks had coccidiosis before you got them. It is possible that they had not been pooping blood prior to the stress of the move. Stress can make the infection rear it's ugly head with a vengeance. Or you could be being lied to and the seller knew. Who knows? Either way, they have it.

Did you lose the chicks?
What do you have to treat Coccidiosis? Amprolium?
Do you have any antibiotics on hand too?

So sorry about getting pullets who were sick. Are they still alive? Coccidiosis which causes the blood in droppings, is treated by amprollium, sulfa antibiotics, or totrazuril. Coxoid is a brand of amprollium that you may find, and Sulmet is one brand of sulfa available. They need to be treated for up to 7 days, depending on which drug is used.
Here is an article to read on coccidiosis:
