@Razadia You have to take those bad reviews with a grain of salt. The good reviews greatly outweighed the bad ones for Meyer's.
That's why I went with them.
I really like when a hatchery rep gets on and clarifies a bad reviewer and sets the record straight. I read one that the reviewer was lying, hatchery called them out on it, their conversations were recorded. The person post back that recording them is illegal. Hatchery posts back, nope sorry, we clearly state that all calls are recorded for clarification and record keeping purposes. Lol!

I've read a lot on here over the years about what is normal when getting chicks shipped, so I was already prepared at least a little bit. I also know what's normal for bringing home chicks period. I saw a few bad reviews on there that made me laugh. You could tell they had no idea what they were talking about. When it comes down to it, Meyer had what I wanted, plus a few things I hadn't planned on getting until I saw them. Plus their prices aren't too bad. I was originally going to order from My Pet Chicken until I remembered Meyer.

Actually, I looked at a lot of hatcheries before I made my choice.

Have you looked at Strombergs? I thought their prices were too high, never realized shipping was included in the price, no other hatchery does that.

I've never had an issue with flock raiser or TSC dumor chick starter/grower. I like the flock raiser better. They grow better and mature faster on it.
