She is not confident in my electrical skills.
But my shed is 150 feet away from the house. I could run an extension cord that far. I could buy that kit and rig up the dishwasher

Ahhh!! Ok! :D

That was just messing with my head, lol... even a wood cabinet would be fine in the shed, mine was used in a huge old barn and kept perfect temp all year round... the beauty of the cabinets is not as much worry about ambient temps affecting it...

A friend of mine has a girlfriend who's hysterical about fires. Ever extension cord is always disconnected and everything. My friend was finally getting her to the point where he would not have to notice every morning after ten minutes that the coffee maker is unplugged, when the guy living above them managed to set fire to his apartment with a heater.

Lovely! Bet that went over well for her paranoia!
My MIL is like that... has to plug in the coffeepot to use it and yanks it out as soon as it's done... :p

Outing for the kiddos... then resting with their banty buddies, lol...

@vehve - google hypertufa I made some pretty nice pots, troughs for my herbs that way. They hold up well to our climes and are half the weight of normal concrete pots. I also like that you can make them look like they're really old stone troughs pretty easily.

Well folks, it's finally spread to chickens and wouldn't you know it would hit my state first?

(posted by the Chicken Whisperer on FB but "officially" reported by the USDA)

Bird Flu spreads to Wisconsin chicken farm. (It's moving east folks, and it's chickens this time, not turkeys. The farm is under quarantine and 200,000 chickens will be culled.)

Bird flu spreads to Wisconsin chicken farm
The deadly virus has appeared in a commercial flock of 200,000 chickens in southeastern Wisconsin.

lovely world we are in...

but maybe both were hacked.... who knows
Turbo Tax wasn't hacked. They're doing that to people on purpose. My parents didn't listen to me and filed through TT instead of Tax Slayer like I do. TT basically stole my dad's SSN and my parents had to file paper. It's the only thing you can do at this point.

Hi everyone! I'm back after not being able to handle people for several days. Over 500 posts?
