Yay, time for mini duckies soon.

I'm going to try to get a good angle with the trail cam tonight, in 7-8 hours we might have some baby bunny footage. Yesterday Hilma went to the nest around 2230, but it's possible she also went in there sometime in the morning. We had the cam on all night, that bunny sure is an active nocturnal animal. She was downstairs jumping about at least once every hour.

Yay Hilma, doing her motherly duties at night time. Baby bunnies should emerge soon?

Yesterday was day 16, so yeah. We got some footage of her yesterday, she no longer goes inside the tunnel, but crouches above the entrance instead. We're assuming the kits are coming up to get some milk, but we had the camera aimed at her back so we're unsure. I'm going to try a sideways angle tonight, and see if we could catch a glimpse of the kits.

@alaskan @bamadude lately I have had such a big request for the rose combed legbars that I have been getting about $5/egg for hatching and last fall I sold a pair for $150 whiich is more than $20/chick, lol. Legbars come from a composite of leghorns, plymouth rocks, and araucanas years ago but after they got the blue egg gene from the araucana and the barring from the rock, they have used leghorns as an outcross. Otherwise they are much like a leghorn

how is:

1. fertility with your roosters?

2. any odd genetic issues that crop up on occasion like crossed beaks, fused toes, death in shell.. whatever.

I just found 3 commercial greenhouses for $3500!!! It's a freaking steal!!! I need them, tell punky I will die with out them...
