and flying? Lol, she's an English orp bantam. She couldn't fly on a bet as an adult, such little butterballs.

I've got some heavy chickens that can clear a 6 ft fence. I think the stubby legs and round bodies kind of screw these guys over as far as getting more than a couple inches high when jumping.

heart failure over the chick... but I also agree, keep it taped for a few days, then look it over, if it looks bad (like bone still sticking out) you could always just cut it off. That is the VERY nice thing about a problem with the wing... not really needed AND you know it isn't genetic. nice.

Talking of, if anyone ever sees SUPER dark egg laying Marans that are VIGOROUS... if I could get eggs for a REASONABLE price, in any of the following colors:

black
black copper (or blue or splash)
lavendar

I actually prefer no feathers on the legs, so I don't care if the legs aren't to SOP, but I DO want the rest of the bird to follow SOP, and I want GOOD legs and feet, and GOOD fertility and vitality and AWESOME egg color. But I also do NOT want to pay $100 for one dozen shipped eggs.
