Dixie Chicks

Aubrey is a great guy.
He is in a good area, also ships everywheres.
I got my start with Phoenix, Phoenix Bantams & Ohiki.
I understand he got his start with Toni Marie.
They have beautiful birds.
Around my area there is no way it flies. Tried it. Kept back one Ohiki Boy, 2 baby Cochin Bantam boys and 1 Cochin Bantam & 2 Baby Cochin Bantam girls. All the rest went. Sold some and gave away most.

Good morning, I am back home and hopefully back here more often.

After not seeing my Ancona's for a week and a half I am amazed at how much they grew! Just about fell over last night.

I also brought home 30 (!!) Cayuga duck hatching eggs) which are now set up in my hovabator. How does one do the turning? Right now I have them with air cell up in egg cartons. Do you out a wedge under the incubator and keep changing the angle or would you actually do a 360 with the eggs each day?

The quail eggs I set just before I left are also starting to hatch. So exciting!! 7 hatched last night.

awesome on the duck eggs! Great, you have replacements for the quail! How big are the Ancona now?

Hmm, I'd say at least 8inches tall... How long before I can put them from starter to grower food? I also want to integrate them with my adult ducks who are being fed layer...

They are very messy with their food. Any suggestions for feeders?

As for the quail: I had 4 eggs hatch out of the last 6 eggs I got from the quail the fox got. 3 babies survived so far. So back up to 10 little quail with last nights hatches! See what more hatches in the next day or so.

A little surprised the buttons and bobwhites haven't hatched yet...

Ah, so egg carton method doesn't mean to keep them upright... but still on the sides..? My First time trying that method, excuse all my silly questions :)
egg carton ethos means they stay big end up and the whole carton is shifted from side to side which turns the eggs 45° at a time. Make sure you turn them a uneven # of times a day so they don't always get stuck on the same side overnight.
