I looked up the Ohiki Hatching eggs on ebay and there are some of Aubrey's on there. Had you considered shipped eggs? Since chicks did not fair as well as you would have liked?

I never saw white quail before until lastnight when I was on ebay. They had Texas A&M Coturnix Quail Hatching Eggs, they look weird.

Hey, anyone who is willing, please check out this thread and give this poor guy some support... his entire flock of peafowl, geese and silkies is scheduled for destruction due to him getting shipped eggs from an NPIP source that tested positive for AI... even though his flock has tested negative, they are still insisting destruction of his flock... very, very sad...

That's very sad. Here in NY you can not get chicks OR eggs unless it is from a AI monitored place with the paperwork shipped with them.

And after watching that video of that guys birds, I believe my flock just became closed. That broke my heart and I was crying over someone else's freaking birds!

Just read this the other day, old article but makes you think. Places like SandHill or Frank Reese's 'Good Shepherd Ranch' many others breeding rare heritage poultry. One dumb disease could wipe out decades of work and genetics.
