thank you. Hoping to be able to create more with spots, which I have 1 pullet already that just started laying. Plus I just hatched 3 more from my black Ameraucana hen and this rooster. The pullet is good and clean, doesn't have very many spots though. Hoping these babies have more. They already have more than their father did at hatch. He had 2 or 3 black spots while these guys have a couple bigger ones and a bunch of small spots.

Oh, me and aubrey (boggy bottom) were discussing the black phoenix I got in large fowl and I sent pics and he thinks that some are fibro! I'm hoping to get a good dark black face in at least one. How awesome would that be?

I know, right? He said he didn't realize that they were throwing birds that dark. He said he knew some were "gypsy faced" but none with pure black skin and combs!

je said he is thinking the new rooster he got from TM is fibro. He got frostbite on his comb before Aubrey got him and of course that changes the color when it heals.

He said he was wanting to create a good black faced black phoenix in LG but didn't realize he already had the starts to it.
