Dixie Chicks

@Amberjem , that is funny about your princess turkey.

@vehve , Sorry to hear about your hen. You know I LOVE SS. They are just so beautiful! But I have been on a 3 year search for a mate for my SS roo. I've bought a few & in my experience, they are just not hearty. Hope all the other critters are doing well.

@minihorse927 , We went to a flea market yesterday & there is a shop at the flea market that sells birds. Not now. Has a sign posted by the state of Ohio. Then I did some research & bird sanctuaries are closed, bird shops, etc. I understand the precautions, I just feel for the shop owners. I usually take my Sun Conure to have his nails trimmed & his wings clipped, but I'm not taking him anywhere at this point. I can trim his nails myself, although it's not easy at all. Pasqually is a squirmy bird & will bite the stuff out of me when I try to trim them. His wings don't NEED clipped, I'd just hate for him to get loose & fly away. But I only get the wings done occasionally (maybe once a year, or once every other year).

ARG!!! I've gotta get ready for work. Got to let the pullets out 1st. Those funny birds all pile in a dog house at night. Not sure how they all fit, but come 9pm, they are all piled up and ready to be locked in. You all have a wonderful day.

We're down to two layers, and we have three twelve week old pullets moving up to the big leagues within a few months. Bunnies won't be processed for at least a a month. They are around two kilos now.

The injured one was looking fine in the morning, can't really even tell which one it is.

I don't know what in the world is going on (and I'm definitely not complaining) but I have had a spike in Ancona duckling amd juvenile sales and egg requests

thought about doing this but would add casters and frame to roll it on the patio........
Those are awesome! I've got fifty strawberry plants coming and they look like they would be a good way to keep them weed free, and I can get those barrels for free. I've cut some down and have maters growing in them, with the last of our bunny poop. Need to get some meat rabbits, the wife and kids don't like that idea though.

This is the last week for SandHill chicks, got my fingers crossed. If they don't show up I've decided on getting a incubator, probably the same one @bamadude got.

Anacona Ducks.
One of ours has a brown feather on his back.

But that is not why I write.
A young small flock of Bresse I had decided to sell this Saturday has a problem. They got caught out in the cold mountain rain storm several days ago.

it's a tri color. Not usually used in breeding but they are wonderful to lighten up an over marked duck. I like the looks of the one on the left. Got anymore pics?
I only took 3 pictures this morning, LOL just before work, will try and get some more tonight.
Interesting you say "tricolour usually used to lighten up an overmarked duck" as I find that one over marked! The two on the left side appear to be correct marked.

Sorry, I am no help here, hope someone else can help you
