My girls love fishing and all bait their own hooks. We go a lot, they make me. Any small panfish get ground up whole and fed to the chickens.

They just banned it!

They decided the shooting (was that two weeks back) all happened because the guy was racist, and that all racism has its roots in the dixie flag.

(The above comment is NOT asking for a political discussion to start... Simply a wrap up of the hoop-la.)

I should google where it has actually been banned.... Silly me.... But I think in some of the states where it had been the state flag, it is no longer... The entire things is uh -insert illegal political commentary here- so I deliberately did not follow exactly where it was been taken down, and what was going to replace it.

I discovered fire ants in my straw bale last night, just happened to grab right into it when I needed straw for the ducks.

It's been getting a little bit wet too as the tarp kept flying off, now to figure out what to do with about half a big round bale that's ruined.

Good thing I stocked up on pine shavings. It's cheap at the UFA.

Briard, I know all about ants, LOL. Yesterday hubby went to empty the motorhome tank and the compartment under the motor home was filled with those big big ugly ants. It was like science fiction. Rainy season causes them to look for higher ground.

Those fire ants were at the top of my straw bale. Must be nice and warm, under the tarp and rotting straw because it got wet a few times.

@Alaskan went and picked up the used fence panels we were given... at least 40 panels, 6ft tall by 8ft... loaded, hauled and unloaded...
Feeling every one of those panels now, lol...

My ducks are offended and ticked off at me... they're wings are clipped and they are grounded... they tried to fly out of their pool yesterday and they all just tumbled down the hill... poor babies... :/
