Ok so my family including my sister mother and dad and are going to south Carolina on Thursday I think and we will drive there. I think we may go thru Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arkansas and not sure where else. Im wanting to go to a really good bbq place or any old really good restaurants. Also I really would like to go to a good peach shop. Anyone have any suggestions?

Dunno how close you'll come by me, but there's an awesome peach farm really close... Jim's brother was just there yesterday, he comes down from Chicago every summer and gets them...
There's a real popular local BBQ place nearby too, tons of people love it but I'm not much of a fan...

I would rather sling bags of feed all day long, lol...

Nope, ducks were NOT amused... all 4 in a line went end over end all the way down... came back up griping all the way... circled around me and pouted under the stairs for the rest of the day... and they're still giving me hardcore stink eye...

I discovered fire ants in my straw bale last night, just happened to grab right into it when I needed straw for the ducks.

It's been getting a little bit wet too as the tarp kept flying off, now to figure out what to do with about half a big round bale that's ruined.

Good thing I  stocked up on pine shavings. It's cheap at the UFA.

Fire ants???

Wish we could talk about the political stuff... Arg!!!

Those fire ants were at the top of my straw bale. Must be nice and warm, under the tarp and rotting straw because it got wet a few times.

Ugh, sorry about the fire ants, BC... at least they weren't cow ants... blech, I never even heard of those til I moved here... :/
