Mass hysteria of those banning my right to fly what I want. My avatar is of my choice and so is it is the right of all members on this site. We should not criticize others choice of avatars.
I hope I am not too political or interferring. We need to be able to voice our opinion but not infringe on others rights.

I am almost certain some troll
Will Complain about my post and have it removed so Screw you in advance!
And for those that believe we all have rights to live our lives as we see fit without authority beating us down, your my hero!

I hope they leave their name.

That Chinese spam used to show up in the early a.m.. Lots of it. Usually all by one spammer so it could be deleted "All of" their posts.

It became such a problem that admin had to get the software company to allow us to screen new members by having to approve them. The spamming stopped. So the filter came off. Admin didn't like to have to stall new member posts.

There's also one that posts kitchens for sale all over the site. They have hundreds of user names to sign up with.

with having a contaminated flock with mareks how do you deal with biosecurty n stuff? I noticed you offered eggs do you still sell eggs and stuff even though your flock is contaminated?

If you are asking me- I don't sell chicks so I end up with a lot of permanent roosters. I do sell or give away eggs because they do not carry Marek's. Marek's can't survive on an egg. If I visit someone with chickens, I shower , clean clothes , and leave the house pronto. I do not handle their chickens. If anyone came here that had chickens, I would not let them out back. I have chicken shoes outside only for chickens. I stopped selling eggs because it appears that my eggs never give a good hatch. I don't know why.

For anyone wanting to prevent Marek's in their flock (99%), buy hatching eggs or hatch your own. Or get hatchery chicks-they usually have no contact with adults. Do not buy chicks or chickens from any other flock. Vaccinated chicks can also carry Marek's if exposed, and spread it. The vaccine prevents tumors, but nothing more. All my chickens were hatched at home. I broke my own rule and bought a pullet from a silkie breeder. 6 weeks later the trouble started.

Over winter I was composting in a couple new raised beds both chicken waste and kitchen waste ...I also build the chicken tractor to both let them free range and also help fertilize maintain the growth of my lawns.. which btw are coming in GORGIOUSLY and so very lush and green from being fertilized..............I can also put the chicken tractor I build ontop of the raised beds to have them in a safe enclosed area....and they can bug eat and scratch and poop directly into the beds... I plan on putting a green crop down and letting them have at the raised beds when the growing season is done....
