@Outpost JWB car is at the dealership. That was a nightmare. Long story short it was towed to 4 different dealerships before one accepted it. I'm not happy with chevy roadside assistance.

Good to know. We are looking into buying a new car/SUV/or crossover. Was considering chevy, ford & maybe even kia. We currently own a 2005 kia sorento that has caused us more than our fair share of headaches. We call it kia crap. Anyways, the warranties that kia offers is the only reason we even are considering it. I think everyday we are leaning closer to the ford edge or ford escape. DH & I got frustrated with the voice activation stuff in the cars when we test drove them and he ended up sounding like George Costanza on Seinfeld!

Him being a heart patient, we really don't need added stress. The dealer did say they offer 2 hour classes that teach you how to talk to your car.......

@hennible , Growing my up my grandma used raw eggs to make ice cream like bamadude also said. At Christmas time I buy some good old fashioned egg nog with raw eggs & add so much rum it would kill any chance of salmonella.

A lot can be said to deciding what brand based to who has the nearest maintenance/repair with the best reputation.

Outpost: consider a honda. They are tough and worry free. I rolled an accord over 5 times and then drove it 20 miles home. We have a honda odyssey van and I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 5.9 L 4x4 with 38 inch Super Swampers

I second that on Honda... CRV is all wheel drive too. Enough room for five if necessary.

I do not buy new these days. Its cheaper to just have a good mechanic and not the monthly payment. Oh and you can buy service contracts on used cars if you feel the need.... not too expensive either.

I made a big mistake. I sold out all the Barred Rock. They were big and fluffy. They were very large and laid an egg everyday even during the cold weather.

What did I learn from this? Yes, I did learn something from this. I had during that time kept back the beautiful Cochin Bantams and Babydolls, Phoenix, Phoenix Bantams, and Ohiki. However. Before they were completely gone, I then sold or gave away as many ornamental chickens and was still scaling down to just a few ornamental and was letting go of many of the English Orpingtons.
What I did learn is beauty is nice but may not be utiliarian. With English Orps and Eng orps bantams, there is the whole package. Beautiful & docile chickens, eggs and a big meat bird. Ahem,...No I can not eat them.

WOW! There is no way I want to go through that again. I felt tramatized and I worry if all of them got good homes. I know for certain some of them did.

The ones to go will be 2-3 of the Calico Cochin Babydolls aged 2-3 months, If anyone knows anyone that is interested please let me know. They are free. These are sweethearts. So frisky. No I will not eat them!

I also have 2-3 young Bresse aged 2-3 months, to go so if anyone knows anyone please let me know. They are free. These are sweet angel wings. So docile. No I can not eat them!

I have learned. Not too many beautiful ornamentals. Yes they lay eggs but not the size or shere numbers some others lay and really those beautiful ornamental birds have no meat on their bones. Not too many of the beautiful meat birds like the Bresse. Sweet angel wings. And who could eat them? NOT ME!

Pekin Ducks and Cornish Rock chickens Grow fast in size and less contact time for me to get attached so they might be best for eating.
What does everyone else think?
Best eating duck and chicken, fast grower means less time for me to get attached.

I loved my Subarus... Best cars ever... Most trouble free and awesome! You can buy the least expensive model but still have the cold weather package added on (lots of cars make you upgrade to leather seats or something else expensive before you can add the cold weather package).

I now have a Toyota... Still good, not as good as the Subaru.. The Toyota has some stupid computer stuff that should be ripped out, but it is reliable.

My aunt had a Subaru Brat truck car thingy. Like Joy's on "My Name Is Earl". It was an awesome machine.
