Dixie Chicks

I've always heard canned chicken in soups and frozen prepared foods comes from China. Check before you buy frozen veggies, many come from China.

Beautiful coop and run, BriardChickens!!

As for the chicken to China crap, blech... don't like it but wouldn't put it past them... if you read it they say they already send salmon over there as it's cheaper in the long run to process... like it costs at least $1 per pound to process here, but only 20 cents per pound over there... that adds up quick in bulk...

Something to think about when you eat canned beef soup. At work we condense our 4% whey to 40% solids and ship it to a place that condenses it down to a powder and takes lactose sugar out of it and something they use for the coating on pills. The truck driver told me they had a load of awfull smelling stuff they were unloading. He asked what it was. They said blood, spleens, other parts, from a beef slaughter house. They condense it down to a powder and is the protein in canned beef soups...mmm good....

U don't want to buy there mushrooms , I won't say what medium they grow in , but YUCK ! Always read the label , though some canned or frozen food goes through a middle man thus the country of origin might be hard to find , distribution places get there stock from all over the world !

Most canned fruit is from China also, yup read the lable... Pickles from India etc etc
Rediculous food system, it's not good for anything but profit.

Thanks for the chicken offer Outpost JWB :)

How old is the blue Maran?

About 2 months... Which makes me think that it has to be male.... So I use it to breed and say I am selling Black and Blue Marans? Not copper???

:idunno

@BriardChickens just a little hole at the top on the air cell... So you can see what is going on.... Because these are past due, right?

@RavynFallen yep... That guy! :D

I stand by the blue quail color guess on that d'Anvers, Alaskan... :D

As for the Marans, depends on what you get from him... should do a test hatch and grow out... or you could say they are black and blue Marans with possibility of coppers???

I say male and I'd do what raven said.

Anyone want me to post a pic of a super awesome deformed quail (it didn't hatch, I was breaking unhatched eggs). I'll use the spoiler button :) so not everyone has to look at it.
