Dixie Chicks

@Beer can , The size of the legs on those White Jersey Giants reminds me of my Dixie Rainbow. They are HUGE! She is very large compared to my standard hens. Was really hoping to get some more of them this past spring, but no one sold them locally.

@hennible , How is your dog? Hoping she is doing better. Here I am at 1:56am, just got up to put our little dog outside. He is so territorial. We are getting new flooring in our laundry room, kitchen, and dining room during all the construction. Anyway, I heard him walking in the kitchen (I'm a super light sleeper

I am going to clean out one of the empty crates tomorrow and make him a little nighttime crate.

So happy the construction crew just installed an outside water spigot yesterday. Prior to yesterday, we had fill water jugs in the bathtub and carry them outside. This will make it so much easier

So tired.....been so busy this weekend. Here comes Thanksgiving! Suppose to get linoleum put down in kitchen laundry room and dining room this week. I am working on sanding down the outdated, worn out, dining room chairs. Once I get them sanded down, I'll cut new seat bottoms and pick out new upholstery & recover them. But, for now, got to get ready for work. Have a great day everyone!

Tired here to. Trying to get winter stuff done, luckily winter hasn't hit us yet. One dusting of snow the other day that just stuck in the woods. 50s f daytime temps for the rest of the week. Bowseason makes it harder, have to spend some time in the woods hoping for some venison for the freezer.
Got to walk out of the woods in the dark dark with coyotes going nuts in bear territory

last night, with just a bow and knife....

She seems to be recovering outpost. She is beyond clumsy right now, poor kid.
This is wild, mid November and I am still using a hose to fill water buckets and the pond, still no snow here. Crazy.

:he :he :he Already in teens Frigging cold. We have a couple water pans frozen totally to the ground, even my big kid can't pop it off the ground to pop out the ice cube and refill.
