Now I just need to convince Karin that it's completely normal to put of shelves in front of the whole living room window to start plants on

I've been hinting of a hanging shelf system for a while, but she hasn't warmed up to the idea quite yet.
lol poor mark has given up I had container garden every square inch of space I could find last year cucumbers growing in my living room picture window.. I had these window box container planeters growing in my bedroom windows with radish, spinach lettuce and chives and onions lol...every bit of space on the balacony railing was taken...aquaponic basil growing next to the ferrets lol

I have a vision of these long shelves suspended from the ceiling in front of the window, on top of which I would have long, shallow water containers and then wicking pots on top of that. It would be super easy to water the plants, you could water a whole shelf at once. Or then I could build a even more complicated version where I would only need to pour water in the top container and it would fill all the other containers from there. But I think the better half will have something to say about that. My best bet is to just start with the cold hardiest plants first, and get them on the windowsill for a while, until they're ready to make room for the next ones and move outside.

Good plan.

I want to put glass shelves across this window for my starts, it's a bay window not sure how to do the brackets, but I'll figure it out... and heck would be big pieces of glass whatever maybe I'd have to go is some really tough wire frame shelves instead... Then in the spare room I want to hang my big grow lights up over a table for my other starts and just take over the world with gardening!!
Mwa ha ha ha -evil laugh-
Then in front of my patio doors I want to put up some shelves but it is nearly impossible to keep the kids out of it so I might have to skip on that this year... Once the deck has a roof I will have a great big 700 square-foot room for starting seeds in!!!

I have 21 pages to catch up on!

. DH had to go to work and couldn't wait on me to get home. She was a good helper though. I'll have to add more to her allowance next Sunday. I'm sure she will invoice me for it. LOL!

Did everyone see the huge pile up wreck and the guy who was sandwiched between 2 semis? OH WOW! So blessed he is. His name is Kaleb Whitby. I don't know how to link any links onto here, but do a search. His Chevy Silverado was a big pile of curled up metal. It is absolutely incredible that he survived.
