I think the ones that have done the best commercially are Apocalyptica, Stratovarius, Children of Bodom, Sentenced, Nightwish, Lordi (don't take them seriously, they don't either), Sturm und Drang and maybe Tarot. None of those really speak to me that much though. Oh, and Amorphis. Apocalyptica's Metallica covers are sort of fun though.

Yeah, they are. Can't really name any of the other members apart from Ville Valo. Them I actually liked at some point. Join me in death was pretty good when it came out.
